Back on point. I want to leave the shifter on the column, so if I go MVB, I'll be shifting from there. Gain room by getting rid of all the kickdown linkage plus a couple pounds. :D I think MVB is the way to go. Because of the column shift, not sure if a RMVB would be ideal as the shifter lever goes up and forward with each shift 1-2-3. RMVB I'd be pulling in and down.
