1. Will a SG from a nine bolt 7 1/4 work in a ten bolt?
2. Are there rebuild kits out there for the SG?

Can't answer your 1st ?
Rebuild, if it's a cone type, no. Clutch type, yes.

Here's what I have.

This is the cone type I just took out of my Dart and will replace it with a Yukon clutch type. Well, picture won't load again . If you want, pm me your email and I'll send it. Otherwise, I am sure someone can get you a picture.

Still not sure if there's a difference between 9 bolt vs 10.

Thanks for the pic, clears that up.

If I understand the question. You have what I call a hybrid 7 1/4” with BBP and C clip axle? If so, no it won’t work as the axles are held in bolts on the standard 7 1/4. And the later model hybrid rear has C clips holding axles in. If we are talking about the same thing.

She's was a 73 318 auto now a 340. Couldn't confirm anything about the axle, never been apart since new.

Well if you can post a picture of both rear ends, maybe I can tell you what you have. What is it your trying to do?

I only have a pic of the donor 9 bolt axle from a 68 Barracuda (shown above). I want to use the SG from that axle for my 73. Need a kit before installing it, if it will work for me.

No, this is the best pic I have right now. She's in bed for the winter.
