D Dart spec. Anyone build one?

didn't the original "D" Dart come equipped with a 4.86 SG 8-3/4"? and it was a little bit lighter...I guess as long as the tires spin, the 7-1/4 will last.
what about a 3.58" or 4" stroke crank in the 273? keep a more street friendly gear and have all sorts of low end torque.

A 4" stroke is like 336 cube. (I don't have my calculator program handy) Pistons would have to be custom made. If I owned a D Dart and thought I wanted more power I would pull the original engine, set it in the corner and build a 390 or 408 stroker. Naw, I would leave the 273 in there.
