Stop in for a cup of coffee

My son that's in his engineering masters program gave me a call yesterday, Boeing interviewed him and made a generous offer for an engineering position. They wanted him to start fairly quickly but when learning he's still in school he will finish his quarter. Boeing will then pay for his masters after he's worked for them for a short time so good match. He was an in flight technician in the Navy so this position that is for instruments and crew alerts is right up his alley. He should be working for them first two weeks of Jan.

Ugh it won’t let me load the picture, some file error.
But a year ago, I took a picture of prices at the station in town that’s always the highest.

the break down is 1.769 for 87, 1.849 for 89, 2.019 for 93. Diesel 1.899.

that a year ago on 11/12/2020

Good Morning All. I missed the partial lunar eclipse, but got a couple nice pics of the moon in it's greatness on the way to work. Short day, heading up to the great north woods. Will bring my orange and rifle, not sure how much hunting will be done though.

Great!

1.42 a litre.
5.68 a gallon roughly. 1quart is .946 litre.
It just went to 1.38 a couple days ago.

I was asleep during the eclipse but I did snap a shot with my phone before it started. About 7:30.

Your phone takes awesome pictures Mike
It's one of those newer Samsung's with 3 lenses but damn is it hard to hold it steady. The moon is a long ways away. A fraction of a inch movement here is thousands of miles up there. LOL

One of the Christmas presents we’re getting my son is a telescope. It comes with a device to connect it to a phone to turn the telescope into a camera with 150X zoom. Reviews are really good, so hopefully it’ll work out. It ain’t cheap either

That should be fun.

I have a Samsung 10E. Most moon pics might as well be a light bulb or street light.

Have fun with that. Here's one of the first things I "found" while out stargazing with my father.
