What do you think it could run?

I’m only going off Wallace’s calculator and the charts in the book “How To Hook And Launch” while Definitely not absolutes, they (along with others I’m sure) give “ideal” numbers for 60’, 330’ and so forth. I use both to gauge how my setup does and I’ve got a stack of time slips that show my various times are where they should be according to those references. I’m now running consistent dead hooking 1.59-1.60 60’s and 11.45@114 (my Mph is slightly less than what Wallace shows ideally, due to my aero handicap at the big end) What et/Mph are you expecting with the hoped for 1.6 60’?
well, the end of my statement was for his Duster when I referenced 1.6's. But, here's my experience. When running a true street car, the 60 ft, and sometimes even the 330 ft is a little soft for the 1/4 ET/MPH. Reason? Because Wallace and other charts are made for DRAG RACING. It's assumed racing gears, racing converter, two of which is seldom found on a true street car. So I have always found the mph to be greater than the actual ET. ALL of my street cars mph better than the et. In other words, my 318 duster should run a 13.9 by the mph, but runs a 14.9 due to 2.76 gears/stock converter. My point is, his car MAY run a mid 11 off of a 1.7 60ft'.
