Worse case,( stock 383 with a cam and headers, stock distributor curves, low compression.....not 10:1, 3000 stall that probable only stalls 2700 RPM)

Simple thing, like Re curving dist to get 18-20 degrees of timing at idle with out advancing it past 36 total, finding the best shift points, jetting carb to that combo.
You now have a 12 sec combo.

My guess is as much of a guess as any ones. AND IT DON'T REALLY MATTER....................
The hole thing of drag racing is running what you got, an finding ways to make it faster.

My 35 year project was taking a stock 318-276 geared 3800 pound car from high 19S to the current 11.87 ET with high compression 408 strocker. Who knows i may have a 10 sec car before they throw dirt on my ***.:eek::D
