Our 383 in my '68 Fury III 4 door. 100% factory stone-stock long block including cam, but the intake and carb replaced (dual plane). NO headers, 100% stone stock torque converter and transmission, 3.55's went 14.7's at 4350 lbs at the start line.
WOW:wtf: That is fast in a big ole boat! I posted on another thread the back in the late '70s my daily driver was 1978 Volare Super Coupe with the E58 360 and 727. I had headers and rejetted T-Quad, best I ever ran at Gainsville was 16.02.
