With Manitoba public insurance, I did the math including storage insurance. For a savings of around 50 bucks I just leave it registered and keep the plates on it year round. MPI have auto appraisal guys there numbers aren’t as high as the market prices but fair so there won’t be any fighting with them over value.
I have Hagerty Ins. on my Scamp and 29 truck cost is right at 500 a year to insure them. 29 is appraised at $6,000 and scamp is $35,000 so a bit low on the scamp for what I have into it so hope nothing happens to it. lol
