With Manitoba public insurance, I did the math including storage insurance. For a savings of around 50 bucks I just leave it registered and keep the plates on it year round. MPI have auto appraisal guys there numbers aren’t as high as the market prices but fair so there won’t be any fighting with them over value.

In Ca. if you remove the insurance from a vehicle the insurance company is required to contact the state DMV and your registration is immediately cancelled. To save that $50 bucks would mean a few calls to the insurance peeps and 2 visits with fees to the DMV :BangHead:. Yet there are those that drive about with neither on a regular basis, most of which have no driver's license. :BangHead:
