Feeling Old???

So John F. Kennedy was shot to death on this day Nov.22 1963. I really don't remember where I was when it happened. I Probably was hidden from the news. I clearly remember where the adults put us children to protect us from the news and/or what they were doing, watching tragedy on the news or wrapping Christmas presents (No not in the closets LOL).
I clearly remember where I was during the J.F.K. funeral coverage on the TV. I was out of school, and looking back and forth from the fancy CRT TV with oval sides to my papa painting a ceiling on a very high ladder. Was it on the weekend? Did government close schools for a few days? From age 6 to 64... what dang day of the week was it? I can't recall the insignificant details. Who can?
I suppose this post could have been a entirely different thread started but I don't know how many here are as old as I.
Here is quotable quote for the young guns... " Old mopar owners don't simply die, They ran out of gas due to aftermarket fuel senders". Benny Allen
Secondary thought... the death of J.F.K. had to be the one of the saddest Thanksgivings in American history. Yes the 2020 Thanksgiving was all fecked up because of covid19.
Here, we have got that in the rearview mirror and looking forward to a great one this year (Our family didn't loose one due to covid. Much to be thankful for).
I tell you what though... I just might start a thread about that picture puzzle that kept us kids occupied for hours. I have never found it on ebay or anywhere else over the years.
