Whats This “Gen” or “Generation” BS?!

I'm not sure I understand you dislike for these terms. The Barracuda ran from 1964 - 1974. During that time, there were 3 definite "Generations". 1964 - 1966 was the first generation, 1967-1969 was the second generation and 1970 - 1974 was the third generation. I do not see a problem.
I don’t see a problem either. A 64-66 Barracuda is a 64-66 Barracuda, I see no need to Identify those years as 1st Generation or the 67-69’s as 2nd and so on. If I had a 67 Cuda, I got a 67 Cuda. Why add an additional label. Who asks “what generation Cuda is that”? Or “what year is that second generation Cuda?” Nobody asks that, they just ask what year it is. It’s just the “latest lingo” catch phrase that all the kids are using. No need to take offense. All in good fun sir.
