funny thing about covid

So where I work, they’re giving away a new 2021 F150, but to be in the drawing you have to be vaxd. I haven’t gotten the vax, so I’m not eligible. Ironically two of our other techs, who have been vaxd, have both gotten the COVID anyways. Both times, while the vaxd, yet infected techs stayed home on quarantine, I was asked to cover their shifts. They’re still eligible, I am still not. Ironic much?

I worked everyday through this pandemic, while most techs and all machine operators got paid to stay home. I haven’t been vaxd, I haven’t been sick at all, I haven’t collected quarantine pay or unemployment, yet they still feel the need to blast me and a few other of us younger guys who choose not to get the vax.
