I have no illusion my Duster is anything but a decent condition driver. It looks great in pictures from most angles. It's a 50/50 car (looks good from 50 feet away or going by at 50 MPH :poke:
Who else has a 50/50 car that isn't afraid to show it's flaws.

This was my first Mopar Circa 1981, super proud of my work at 15 years old.......Check out the body lines:eek: They had me in mind when they invented rocker guard and heavy stick on moulding

Sold My Smashed up, rotted, bent frame, broken windshield, no hood, 66 Sat after pulling my drivetrain Mar of last year. 2 grand. This was sitting in a Bros yard for 9 years going to crap. Handed him 2 g and slow payed the rest, ( another 2) Shoved my stuff in, went through everything, did ALOT to her since. Car has damn near no rust.. needs a lower 1/4 extension on driver side. Floor pans were patched, windshield still leaks... that total replacement was going to happen, but Bidet crept in.. oh yeah, it is a two tone paint job. Took me about 5 months to notice, I was too busy working on her, to step back and look. It was separated by a pin stripe, I deleted it, right before a Solid Bros Memorial, when I did the stripes. Never did any before, and did them at night...

My '71 Dart GT has its share of bumps & bruises, and will always have them. It shows/photographs well (the same 50/50 philosophy stated above) and I'm content with how it looks.

Several of my friends have beautiful cars, and spend many hours & money keeping them beautiful. That is more effort than I care to put in.

Besides,

I caint have nothing nice, I've put a small dent in the body line of the door, after I framed my carport, chipped and scratched the paint putting the 340 in...

If you look close enough you can see the trash fender gap (I may fix it one day) and the fact the rear window trim is missing a clip or two. At least it's now gathered enough dust to cover the other issues.

From the doors up at least lol, quarter was reworked by a member for me a few years back. That's the exact reason I done it, I wanted a Plymouth stripe on it. Better everyday, it's just going to take some time.
