Hemi hp and tq ?

Ok I'm debating on building this 5.7 stroked to a 394 with a kit from MMX. It's a 2014 block with stock eagle heads and will be carbureted. Just curious what power output you think it will make. Intake I was thinking of the OCP dual plane. Thinking of building for my GTX because I sold Dart I was going to put it in. Currently I have a 440 in my 69 GTX with a 4 speed dana 60 and 4.10 gears. If not building this was thinking of doing a 440 with some trick flow heads. Here is the cam specs for the Hemi.

I suspect you will get varied responses ranging from "keep it old school" to "upgrade to the G3 Hemi". I fall into the second camp, I would drop a G3 into it in a heartbeat and enjoy the crap out it. Sure, to many a G3 doesn't look as cool as the OS 440, and it is not a super simple or super cheap swap, but what you get back in reliability, drivabilty, and yes durability it worth the effort IMHO.
 
Depends on what YOU like and what YOU want out of your car. A gen3 hemi stroked, carbureted, with eagle heads should make ~420 to answer your question.
 
Those 5.7l heads flow over 300 cfm stock and what do trickflow non cnc flow?

Stock 5.7 hemi with long tube headers, still fuel injected. If you guys think there is 150+ hp with a cam swap and going back to a carburetor you need to think again. The stroke will help a little.
 
Can you make 575? Sure. But you’ll need a little more than a cam swap
 
If a stock 392 makes 485 I'm sure with what I'm building it should make 550 at least. Hell I seen a stroked 360 make over 600 with ported eddy heads. Maybe I should just keep it old school and run a 440 with some good aluminum heads..that big block torque is sweet..maybe a low deck 500 ci stroker idk..

What do you want? A driver? A race car? 550hp is easily achievable but you should give us a clue what you’re trying to do. The example you gave above, probably does not run on 87 octane and pull 18” of vacuum so let’s call that “not a daily driver”. Then you say “big block torque” which makes me think street car. So what kinda car are we building here?

69 gts 4 speed. Street mostly so maybe a good low deck torque monster may be better
 
The low deck 451s are great and make great power and torque. But don’t sell the gen3 short, look at the cam swap graph I posted above. It makes over 400lb/ft from 3400 to 5700. That’ll move just about any street car pretty well. And would be a lot of fun with a 4 speed and 4:10s. And I’m sure you’ll save some weight over the big block.

Not exactly the same way you want to build yours, but, gives an idea of what the stroked 5.7 can do. Basically those things make 500/500 without breaking a sweat. Whether it's an Eagle head or ported early head.
That’s a stout gen 3, I looked for the cam specs on the HUG SER2731MHLN
But couldnt find them. Just to note, it took “fully cnc ported” heads and a cam swap with dual 1000cfm throttle bodies on Holley hp efi to get to 529hp. I’d love to know what compression it is.

I would guess 11ish. Hughes likes cylinder pressure.
