With both of my sons now living out of state a turkey dinner is way to much work just for myself so today it’s “Baked Spaghetti”. I really like this and make it usually twice a year as it is time consuming

Dinner and dessert ? Looks good too me
Happy Thanksgiving Sir.

We are out of town, so we ate at the Golden Coral. It was good, had all the Thanksgiving favorites….

we usually go to my sisters in center city Philadelphia for thanksgiving dinner. a few years ago everyone decided it was too much trouble preparing and cleaning up so we now go to her place, walk around the city, hit christmas village then WAWA for turkey bowels.. i'm not a huge fan of turkey so i get a meatball sandwich.. so much easier and faster then a formal dinner.. when its nice out like today we will go to her buildings roof deck and eat.. usually a great day without the hours of preparing and cleaning up involved. we always buy an extra turkey bowl to give it to a street person somewhere along the way back to my sisters..

Heck I'd eat hamburger and spuds on Thanksgiving.............

I do enjoy turkey if people are here. Heck one year I cooked one in the over and fried one.

Man I had two servings of that and took a nice nap. I guess I’ll save going to the shop for tomorrow.

Ours was a bit non-traditional too. Some baked boneless chicken thighs in mushroom sauce, steamed veggies and homemade baked Mac and Cheese. It’s made with 3 cheeses (cheddar, gruyere and jack in a roux sauce base), more cheese layered in like a lasagna and topped with crushed Town House crackers. Yummy!
