Hood Bolt Size/Thread
Hood hinges changed in late 72. Be careful of the washer size and length. Early hoods have a threaded plate that moves in the hood for adjustment. Later hoods have thread-serts and the hinges are slotted. If using an early bolt on a later hood hinge be careful not to **** the washer in the hole you will ruin the thread-sert in the hood and possibly break it free. Trying to fix that after paint can be a real pain.
