Please, i can use some help here.
i need to know the correct shifter cable lenght for a 65/904 small block…i really like the PPP Shifter, and it looks like its the best and easy way to go with a sb with TTI headers.
shifter is a rear exit cable with Trasmission rear cable entry? pictures will help alot…
thanks: Gilbert.

Not familiar with the PPP shifter; are you sure it's designed to work with a '65 cable-shift 904?

Well… i have never owned one myself…!
i got a 392 stroker/904 (later model) and looks like the only way to route the transmission cable its with a ( rear cable entry) …here is a picture so you can have a better idea of it..thanks

I was going to use the Winters shifter in my 65 Dart; however, I felt it did not look “period”, so I changed directions (once again), and decided to go column shift.

I would use a section of Romex semi flexible electrical cable to use as a template to determine the exact length. Simply "snake" it along the path you would like to take and get the exact measurement when you straighten it back out. I always keep leftover Romex to determine lengths when the cable has to take a weird route through stuff.
