No,like canada we will wait until it gets a good foothold here, then back to the too little too late scenario.

We screwed ourselves when we let that first cruise ship dock. Pelosi was behind that. Call me a *** but we should have anchored it somewhere and let it run its course.

Better than I Tim..

I'd be looking at the adjacent fairway for those players to clear out so my slice doesn't hit anyone...

FORE
I do hit the ball straight, no slice....Might not go 250 yards but straight and short will beat long and gone everyday...

Hahaha...
Watch out for the MIB
Missed the parade this year. Last year was a mess with all the pre-recorded stuff. Glad it was a fun one this year
Yeah I was all about "back to normalcy" this year. I want to forget Thanksgiving of 2020. I had to tell my own parents, brother and sister, "Meet me in the driveway and I'll hand you a plate". See the thing is, some of wifes family comes here one year and goes somewhere else the next year ( her family, his family ) and last year they were bound and determined to come here. I cannot/would never say her family isn't welcome. She does all the cooking and prep ( except for the fried okra). If they drive over 300 miles and stop for gas, etc... I don't know what they brought with them that I can't see. I wasn't about to hold a spreader event. So... Thanksgiving is on us, Christmas lasagna gathering is now on my brother since mom is too old, is on my brother. He had already spent time and money on making up several pots of lasagna sauce, noodles, and more . Suddenly him and his place is quarantined because his son brought covid home from work. he calls all to say Christmas here is cancelled. We're talking on the phone and he says, "We might be still eating lasagna on valentines". Ugggh. I went to a local butcher shop and bought a huge prime rib. Had them cut it into thirds. I went to youtube videos, the grocery store for seasoning and sides, then told the wife, "Lets go for a ride". When we got to my parents, brothers place, sisters place, I called them and said, "Hey, your Christmas is on you front porch". Yeah, Covid made everything different, but only for the one year. Today i know I learned from it. Aint nothing more important that family, mine or hers.

I thought we were the only ones that always have Lasagna on Xmas. Yes last year was a big red X!

I don't know if any of you watched the Macys parade Thursday. Wife is no doubt in the kitchen so I watch the parade and call out the floats, characters, bands, etc... She will glance at the TV when she can. Junior is here and asked her what he can do to help, so she puts him to giving the floors a quick vacuum. So vacuum is running, I can't hear the commentators, and a float character I didn't recognize appears on screen. I ask what/who is that? Junior turns the vacuum off and says, "Dont know. Must be from a video game or something". Then a Star Wars like spaceship comes down, hoovers, grabs the float and speeds away with whatever it was in tow. Place mind blown emoji here LOL. Wife missed it due to a bathroom break.
An hour later, us males are sitting out in the sunshine (another beautiful Thanksgiving day in slabtown. I fire up my propane deep fryer to do the fried okra. A bit of a tradition here, how I get us away from the hen session going on indoors). Last menu item to cook, works great. Never any leftover. Anyway... Junior and I start telling my brother and others what we witnessed during the parade broadcast. My brother asked, "What were yall smoking?". LOL
Since I have not been able to find it on Youtube or anywhere online so I can show it to those who missed it... I'm now wondering, what we were smoking? I've tried several different search terms.
That wasn't the only CGI I saw during the parade. It's definitely not the most important part for me and never will be. I have always appreciated every aspect of the parade production, from marching bands, to float builders, and even the commentators who are working on Thanksgiving day. Long live Macys and American tradition.

What were you smoking????

One expert says it's not in the US yet....

Another expert says "I won't be surprised if it's already in the US"...

We can't get a straight story from the authorities.... :bs_flag:
