I have a bunch also given to me over the years. I might put them on that white lab coat my wife wants to get for me.
I landed a box full of Cummins employee mementos from their 50th and 75th anniversaries. Real nice pens, a couple patches, a screw driver set. A bunch of Key chains.all from my grandfather

Got you we did not do that when I was in. Yeah reg USAF is a hard transition after 15 years of Rescue. Hated it. Man did I not fit in with the arm chair wathe *** E-9 could not do a dam thing about it either!rriors! Then being from NY also dd not help. Crap I told my shop if they needed a mental health day after they wor seriously working us hard take it tomorrow. Whole shop called in, The *** E-9 that had us working 7 -18 hour days in a row could not do a dam thing about it either. We were worn out and started making mstakes, not good with flight controls on Pavehawks.
Oh so you’ll find this funny. I ain’t ever seen the military take less than 10 business days to process any paperwork. Not in the 17 years that I’ve been in. My extension paperwork was processed that same day and the next morning, HrC stamped it and into Effect it went.

at that rate ? Are you waiting on the river to freeze over ?
Sunny and dry all week, 60 for the high today and hitting 70 Friday they say.. I will get a bunch of wood split this week i bet :steering:
Not me, im fine if river doesent freeze. Snowmobilers can be stupid around the christmas holidays, and take chances.by christmas there is at least a foot of ice,no way this year.

Here my pond got a skim coat of ice the other morning. Usuall a few inches by now. Definately not complaining!

Good Morning
33F/expected high 41. Brrr. I don't want to play this game anymore.:( is it almost Summer? lol

Think I will put by stovepipes back together. Still debating if I will change the first one. Has a hard thin layer over most of it the brush won't take off. Have the new catalyst ordered. But before I put that in, I want to burn a small fire and then a CSL. Not much buildup, but there's 'glaze' on the inside of the chimney. These things seem to work pretty good. Converts creosote to fly ash...

If it get my snow for Christmas, then yes, on the 26th, it can go back to summer

I enjoy snow... like deep powder snow... not ice sleet garbage cold. Growing up was the latter. New England winters are never ending (all due respect to our Canadian friends )
At least being in a heated garage this year, I should be able to make some progress. If I can get time away from dealing with the other drama.

I don't really need Summer. Just seems to go from too hot to too cold too quick. Grass just stopped growing and it's too cold to do much of anything outside. I'll take a walk down back and check, but it looks like I don't need to mow leaves anymore. Most of the final drop blew away. If done, I will go ahead and pull the starter off to decide if replacing, or doing bendix only. Fingers crossed - last I looked, the flywheel was fine.
Ordered my correct snowblower belt. From what I could tell online nobody stocks it. So figured going to stores for it would be a waste of time. Should have it in a week. Will just leave it apart till then. Unlikely to snow before that, but I could have it back together in a few minutes with the old belt if needed.

Was going to try them, but already ordered. I know they have a lot of v-belts. This is a 6 'rib' serpentine... I ordered from ebay. Says I will have it by next Tuesday. Lately I have gotten most things faster than they originally showed.

Morning TSC shoppers, nice week here 70 today. Try to get a bunch done today.

Hey guys. Bad case of Covid. Started last Wed night. Finally starting to feel human. Sinus clogged and bad headache, but seemingly getting better. No more fever. Sore from laying around for days. I hope everyone else is doing well.
