The sun would eat one of those here. It's just brutal.. frost proof is nice... we see that once or twice a year! Lol not knocking the OP, I just don't know they'd be feasible down here
You wouldn’t have it up unless you are painting so unless you do it full time I would think it can handle a few weeks of UV each year. If you paint full time you can probably afford/justify something more substantial.
