I'm rebuilding the sliders for the bucket seats in my 1970 Dart. Inside each track there are two sets of bearings (one on either end) and the set consists of a roller that takes the weight of the seat and two ball bearings that allow the two parts of the slide to actually slide. Here is a picture taken during disassembly:

The roller and two ball bearings are held in place by a metal cage or cradle:

There are 4 cradles per seat or eight altogether and half are mirror images of the other half. One of each kind was mangled in the track when I took them apart (no wonder the seat didn't really slide). I am looking for one of each of these cages (all the ball and roller bearing are OK, but nobody sells these parts, that I can find). A poster here says they are the same in the same style of bench seat sliders, but I don't have any access to any trashed seat sliders here. If you have some of these, or know of a source for new ones please send a PM. Here is a picture of the type of seat slider:

I will look. What I have outside of tracks today have the side balls directly across. I dont know if that extended side makes a difference. I'm thinking maybe that extended limb collides with their little bent stop/spot at end of track. That is what wrecked them?

Bench seat tracks should have the same sliders.....and people throw those away.

In these the second ball bearing is in the long leg. You can barely see it in my last picture. I'd buy bench seat sliders to get them if they had the right ones!

Redfish are the rollers in yours sitting in the cages sideways???

Yep, I noticed my goof after taking the pic. Rollers would be tuned 90 degrees.

anybody have any idea what year bench sliders would have the same piece???

My junior and I just took apart 3 seat tracks. One from each pair. The latest models have white nylon cages (that was 75 bench seat track). Short of doing a lot of measuring, those appear to fit the same steel rail form. They dont have the 1 extended limb either. Just larger overall. So... If you dont find exactly what you have, I probably have something that will get you beyond this and on to the next challenge. Hang in there, message me when you have to. Good luck

how much to send me a pair ? - worth giving a try...
I'm truly sorry but it isn't that simple...
Many years ago, when I didn't know they are not all the same, I shipped some cages that weren't right for the buyer. After refunding and paying for return shipping I lost money. Then I spent more money to buy up a number of various model tracks from here, ebay, etc.., in effort to educate myself.
Here we are a few years later and I still dont have the differences nailed down. PM me for my mailing address, send me what you want to replace. Make sure it's marked year, make, model (to extend my knowledge). The only people who will gain a dime will be USPS and paypal.

Actually it really is that simple! I'm easy to get along with - if the price for these pieces is low enough, I'll just buy them and see if they work. If they don't, I understood that these were for a later model Dart and I'm happy to take that chance and not ask you to refund anything. I'll let you know if they work or not and then you will have more info in your quest to become the FABO Seat Slider Guru!!! OK? So now we are back to, How much for A pair?

I will make this easy i will give you a pair of sliders from a 72 bench to sacrafice. Pm me and i will make arangements to meet you at the ferry dock.

Mike Mulholand - I sent you a PM with my phone number. Give me a call...
