They are only thinking of ending their pain. If they would let someone know what they are bothered by, it’s possible they could help or get them help.

I personally have seen this. I’ve lost several relatives to suicide. I’ve lost a nephew, brother in law, and two different cousins lost sons to suicide.
They don’t think of the pain and heart ache they put on the ones they leave behind which stays with them for rest their life’s. If anything it’s kind of a selfish act.

But your assuming everyone contemplating suicide is doing so because of mental pain. Not so I live with back pain that most people would have pulled the trigger already. And there is nothing I can do about it. One botched procedure after another. Back surgery that was a failure. Now do to a heart attack and 6 stints in my heart. I can’t come off of blood thinners long enough to have a nerve block done or another surgery. Yeah it ain’t always mental.
