Yep Firm Feel is only place I know off. I have them and no more noise when the suspension cycles with poly bushings.
 
That is correct. I also use marine grade grease from west marine (or any good marine supply store). it's blue, super snotty, and won't wash out over time. the people who sell poly bushings sell the same stuff in tiny containers for a pretty tidy profit.

Sounds like your doing the same thing as me. my car used to be set up for drags but we don't have a strip anymore. I'm not doing a pro street car per se, I just want a car that runs, turns, and most importantly stops as efficiantly as a new car.. or close to it. If it looks good so much the better.
btw, those wheels look good imo!

Thanks Pauly! Yeh the wheels fit the car just right really size wise. I totally dig that Valiant of yours too and those 18s you have picked out are gonna look awesome! I simply want to enjoy my car more and its slowly snowballing into a decent handler.

68 Valiant with hellwig 1.125 front sway bar, pst 1.03" torsion bars, Bilstein shocks, homemade sub frame connecters, hotchkis protour rear leaf springs, and riddler 650 17" wheels.

What width and offset wheel are you running up front? I dig it!
 
This thread makes me sad. @72BBSwinger hasn't been on in 4 years, same for @swisswill. Most everyone else that posted in it is at least a year or more. Really wanted to see swisswill's car finished, wonder what happened to those guys.

Here's my not-protouring car, just want it to drive and handle much like mentioned above.

I took notes on his car, let me see if I can dig up the sizes. Nope, guess I didn't.

It's marked as sold so I guess it would explain why he hasn't been on here.

BTW, I have met pauly v.100 and seen his car in person. Very nice car. It was pretty cool to follow him to the Hideaway, just a cool car both from a distance and up close.

72BBSwinger was running 18x9's up front, I believe the backspace was 6.4" but his brake kit changed the track width of the front end. So that would be 18x9 +35. He had 275/35/18's on there as mentioned.

The largest front wheel I know of was on tomswheels Valiant, he was running 18x10's with a 285/35/18's. But his front fenders were pushed out pretty significantly and the fender lips rolled. The offset on the rims was +42, but he said he was running close to 3/4" of spacer up front. So that would put his effective backspace around 6.4", which would also make the effective offset about +35.

I run 18x9's with a +35 offset on my Duster, also with 275/35/18's up front. I have a 13" cobra style brake kit from DoctorDiff that widens the track width about +5mm per side, so, effectively my offset is about +30 if you're comparing to a stock set of 73+ disks.
