Those old axle / hub pullers (used to be) are VERY expensive. They are useful for early Fords, Studes, older Chrysler products, IHC light trucks and Scouts and Jeep and AMC cars for many years. I have no idea, offhand what other brands of cars. I don't think GM was "big" on tapered axles

You put it on the wheel studs/ bolts, tighten in up, beat on the "wrench" and if needed remove the wrench and with a good large hammer, "whang" on the puller screw end. "Hopefully" this will shock the hub loose. "Sometimes heat"...............................

As above, the other is ring grove cleaner. You can select different groove sizes with the rotary part of the tool.
