AND NOW YET another annoying story from the old days. In the mid 70's after getting out of the Navy, I worked at my Father's auto parts store. Amoungst other duties, I turned brake drums and rotors. A tire store next door used to bring them over. One day they brought over a pair of an AMC car. I put one on the lathe, and it wobbled so bad it was unbelieveable. I called them and said "which one of you needs to learn to pull AMC hubs properly?"

"Well a customer brought those in."

"Well," I says, "SOMEBODY needs to teach him how to pull hubs. They are both ruined

So just before quitting time this guy comes in ---side note--turns out he was a math teacher--and I'm up front, and I asked him if we could help him

"Who is it here is going to teach me how to do a brake job?"
"Well that was ME and you are in SORE NEED of a teacher. You RUINED both those hubs."

OMFG he was PISSED!!! Took his hubs/ drums, flipped me off, walked over, opened the door, turned around and flipped me off again!!! as he was wrestling the drums out the door!!!
That is a great story.
