I agree but there is a big difference between what I did with a high 12 second street car and trying to do 11s, one is economical (if you can do the work yourself) and one is impractical (even if you can do the work yourself) unless you are class restricted. With the availability/cost of speedmasters/promaxx heads there just isn't a reason to build 302s for anything performance unless you are restricted by class. I will answer your question and say yes a 302 head can do 11s, but the cost/work involved in them and the rest of the package to make them perform is impractical, just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. By all means though make your car go fast with them and please make a thread here (no sarcasm), it would be fun to see.
