Installing Accurate dual exhaust on ‘67 Barracuda

The long pipe in front of the muffler is about 1/2” from the floor. The muffler sits level. Seems like the exhaust pipe (or something I am doing wrong) is the problem.

I knew at the start, and Accurate reminded me, the gas strap hanger would have to me moved. I’m OK with that.

If the gas tank hanger was the only problem, I would mark the area and get a new bend or flatten the area with a hammer. Before I use brute force, I want to convince myself I have tried everything else.
