Brett Miller 434" W9 headed small block street/strip '68 Barracuda

It's ran a 5.78 @ 120 with a 1.28 60' and 4.30's with a 8" 6600 converter in it a couple years ago at approx. 3350 lbs. in late fall with the older engine/car setup. Since then we bumped the compression up a touch, different cam, bigger intake ( Brett's 420 ) , 1.5" spacer, 7200 converter, 4.88's, same weight, Menscer shocks all 4 corners and just can't get a handle on it yet.......made a 5.80 @ 118 pass and the next one yanked the front end towards the sky which this car has never come up more than a foot, two feet max, so caught me off gaurd and i double pumped the throttle mid air and it came down very hard and tore up some parts. Hope to make adjustments on the car so that never happens again but if so be ready to just short shift it and stay in the throttle next time for a smoother landing.

Very nice Sir ! Keep us posted on your ride Sir. Another great example of what Mopar’s can run ! Great job !
