I ran the ph 8 fram for years, and Mopar filters (cheap) from Wally on my dailies. I had a Fram explode on my 4.0 Jeep, Now Totalled... thankfully I was pulling in Advance when it grenaded. Also, after cutting open a Purolator, vs a fram, the P was WAY thicker metal, the fram was thin as hell
