There has been a bit of talk about GTS hoods versus Swinger hoods. I now know what Swinger hood holes are drilled & the emblem says Dodge.
The GTS hood, is there more than one variation of the holes drilled?
Swinger hood is the red primer one. Is the blue hood one that someone drilled extra holes in? Obviously, the green hood was a GTS because you can see the GTS faded into what looks like the original paint.
Thanks!

green is 69
blue is 68
brown says dodge
i think that is correct
i could be wrong tho

Good info. I guess I never really paid attention. I just Googled 68 and 69 Dart GTS and it's obvious the GTS emblems are different between the two years. The 68 has three individual letters while the 69 is one emblem.

What are you going to do with the blue hood?

Thx for clearing this up in my head.... so I have two bulge hoods... one is a Swinger hood, and would have had the DODGE script off to the drivers side, the other is a '68 GTS hood (like your blue one)....my car is an original '69 GTS...don't have that hood lol. Both my hoods are B-5 blue as well.

Easy to spot a 68 hood from a 69 as the 68 hood does not have three large holes in the bracing on the drivers side. All 69 hoods do whether it is a Swinger or GTS...
