Ok, dont beat me up to badly. Electrical is my weaker point. My question is what is the best way to wire power to the gauges so they operate when the key is on. Is there a post(accesory) for this? also for lighting , what is the best source for this? Ive got the sending units and grounds ok. Any help really appreciated.

Thanks, Tim

There are three circuits in the fuse panel. One is the separate fuse at one end for the cluster lighting from the dimmer and that is the 'big bunch' of orange wires
One of the other busses is hot at all times
The third is switched from the key and is hot both in "run" and in "accessory."

There is only one ignition supply, and that is sometimes called IGN1. It IS NOT fused and therefore does not go through the fuse panel. It feeds up to the cluster to run the OEM gauges and warning lights, and feeds out through the bulkhead to feed the voltage regulator, ignition system, and depending on year/ model, couple of other loads

You need to wander over to MyMopar and download the closest thing you can find to a service manual over there, as well as the two-page aftermarket wiring diagrams posted there. Thoses are often incomplete, IE don't show all connectors and options, but are sometimes easier to follow
