Hi, I just purchased a 1962 Dodge Lancer GT. As I was looking for a 60’s project car, the Lancer caught my eye. It’s a design that you either love or hate, but it sure stands out as unique. My new lancer has a 225 slant six and automatic transmission. I assume that the engine was rebuilt sometime in the past as it runs like new. I’d like to keep the car stock and refresh her as well as I can. Jobs include trying to replace the missing neutral shift button, replacing the rear brakes, replacing the pitman arm, getting all of the lights working, minor body work and a new paint job. I was able to create a new radio grill on my 3d printer. I’ll make the .stl file available to anyone who needs it.
This is the newest Mopar that I’ve redone, others were a 1948 Plymouth and a 1951 Dodge pickup. As I’m new to “A” bodies and slant six’s I’ll be asking lots of questions.
Thanks for being here!
Bill

Welcome from Texas, I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the Toads. Like you said, people either love them or hate them. Personally, I think they are neat & unique. You'll find plenty of help & advice here in the zoo known as FABO.
