318 wins what round ?
There was never a race right ?
I want my money back !

Did Mopar Sam collect admission from you ???? That double cross'n ..... :BangHead:

By default :)

Drag Truck made several runs down the strip.

I am just now getting to the point that I can put my motor together.

In my book, that means Drag Truck wins.

I had some self inflicted delays, (doing the offset rocker setup cost a lot of time) and some unexpected delays.(Waiting 7 weeks for a cut-to-fit pushrod set. Then waiting another month for a reamer because the tips had too much press fit.)

But, I had fun. I got to know 318willrun a lot better through PMs and phone calls. We have had a lot of laughs and shared ideas on our trucks.

If it weren't for this thread, my block would probably still be waiting in the corner collecting dust.

Let the fun, and this thread continue...

Getting a jump on 2022. I just finished washing down my block, all of the threads chased, and everything oiled up.

On a side note..... I saw this and thought somebody stole my car !!!!

I'd like to thrill you with the idea that I'm monitoring this forum with a death grip but I'm not...
From a extremely quick scan of the last seven or eight posts I gather that you got yet another default win...
"NOT".. an actual drag race win against Old yeller.....
Sorry I'm not keeping up with this as I guess I'm expected to I'm a little busy with a frame off nut and bolt build......

Sure.... Sure.... I bet if there would have been a race, and I lost, you'd have had us up to page 21 by now :D :D NOW I know why the university of Oregon has the mascot "Duck" :D :D

I've been looking at these.... keep teasing myself "Drag Truck II" ????
Should drop a full second with weight and wind factors. That'd put me at 7.2's in the 1/8. Need 6.9's to go 10's. Most I have been looking at are cheap due to a blown Mitsubishi. Just swap the drive train :)

Neat little trucks, and I heard that the automatic D50s had 904s. Never knew that.

I see a pretzel in the making.
A 10 sec hook and that truck would fly apart in true pretzel fashion. :D

I would think by now you'd have stopped chucklin' about 3 years ago. Fantasy to you is reality to me :D

I've been look'n at early "A's" lately. 25 years ago, I thought they were ugly. They've grown on me. Let's just say I have some "saved" on my watch list that are for sale, and showed my wife one very recently.

By the way, we love the original Drag TRuck. A "Drag Truck II" wouldn't warrent the original going anywhere.
