In those years we were all boozers. Country drinkin everybody still lived at mom and pops place, the only place we had away from them was our cars. So we would all pile into the super nova 72 my car 4 door 6 banger 3 in tree, or the space ship super star 70 grand marquis 428 or 9 can’t remember, the monte 73 monte 350 and numerous other which all had names. Standin around chip stand, take out burger joint, someone would yell out party at the bridge. We’d all jump in our cars go buy a 2 four and head out. Got bon fire going, speaker’s on roof of car tunes cranked party on. Cops never really bothered us, never left a mess all bottles came home in trunk, no one around to ***** about music, happy days.
Today the garbage would be left on the ground for someone else to pick up.

Come on guys you’ve never been at a concert, at a wedding, hockey game, and squeezed off an SBD silent but deadly. Some dirty looks flying around. LOL. or how about giving the wife a Dutch oven, always good for a slap
The last time we were heading home from the U.K. we were sitting in the plane and I let a SBD go. It was hard to keep a straight face when I heard ugh. Better out than in I always say.

Yeah been there the 80s were a blast. Its funny but young kids i work with think they have it made cause they are young, I always tell them "I wouldn't trade places with you even now..." I also tell them I'm not your teacher or your parents, Ill never blow smoke up your *** tell you you did a good job when you didn't etc. Yea Im not very popular but thats how i like it stay away with your dumb conversation unless it s work related.

I remember once as a child of around seven my folks had all eight of us kids piled in the Fury II wagon along with our Aunt Martha who was in the front seat with the folks. We had been on the road for about five hours on our way back to Southern Illinois from Indiana and just when we were pulling into our home driveway my youngest brother David (4 years old at the time) lets out a SBD that curled everyone's nostril hair. Once the rest of us kids found out who did the deed, we started giving him a hard time. My Aunt Martha came to his defense saying "it's a natural function, it's bad to hold it in, yadda, yadda, yadda. All us kids would have nothing of that and kept up our barrage of verbal abuse to David. Fifty-four years later we still give him grief about it when we are all together for family gatherings.

In '61 a shop mate and I were in the base flick (USAF, Castle AFB) when he "broke wind". Quick as he could, he jumped up, turned around to the three girls sitting behind us and yelled "you should be ashamed of yourselves!!' The girls, after denial, got up and left.
