Very good point, but that call out was tough talk. Do you remember all the "stipulations" he put on the deal basically roadkill would have to do it his way with junk. It had to be random junk from a boneyard on his terms not RK using a 318 they have laying around.

I remember thinking "pffft..like Dulcich and Freiburger are even paying attention" it would have benefitted Tony if they did participate, he would have gotten exposure on their show, which is probably what he's after . I suspect Dulcich and Freiburger as a team would have submitted a better build. Tony would have accused them of cheating. But this is all speculation based off Tony and what I/we know of his behavior on camera. Which brings us back on subject as his behavior with Direct Connection was a little out there. In fact Im lost . He started out thinking the original program was coming back, then no it was electric cars and he went on a rant, then Magnante reassured him it was coming back? am I close?
