New here and looking for advice with my setup.
Hi everyone. Just bought my second mopar and looking for some advice. This car is a 1969 340 with four speed and 8 3/4. Engine right now is stock except for headers and dual exhaust. I want to make it a fun, reliable , hot street car. My current plan was to put on the edelbrock air gap intake manifold , and an edelbrock avs2 carb and keep the factory air cleaner. Then upgrade ignition and tune. Leaning towards fbo for ignition. I’m going to get all of this done while cleaning up a few cosmetic things and seeing what surprises I find getting her ready for summer. Then next year I’ll do a cam and springs. I’d like to hear suggestions on my parts combo I’m looking at as well as suggestions on carb size. 650vs 800 on the abs carb. I’m currently not sure of rear gear ratio but will check before the cam swap. I’m currently out of the country for work so not home to check. Thanks In advance.
