[WANTED] Aluminum small block heads and more

Hi all, like title says, looking for some alum heads for my 340. I snoozed on the Black Friday sales unfortunately.
I have a set of "fresh" X heads that I started a DIY port job on, but thinking about going aluminum.
Also looking for solid lifters and timing chain/gear set.
Would need to ship to Ontario Canada.

Also need timing chain set and solid lifters. Heads can be bare I can swap valves from X heads and have adjustable valve train.

X heads got the 3/8 valve? Speedmaster got the 11/32

New guides measure at .3530 approx so I'm assuming 11/32 but I'll measure a valve to be sure.

I got solid lifters but they will need to be resurfaced. Maybe a timing set. Kim

Thanks Kim, looking for new ones.
I could pull cam lifters timing set from the 273, but would rather leave it together.

Keep the 'X' heads and have them fitted with 11/32 guides!

11/32 Mopar 340 valves are 'cheap as chips', with some good porting you will easily outflow the others...

Thats what we do with the 318 poly heads and you can make 400hp with ease...

AND, they're about a 100 thou. too short.
What do you want for a t-set? Cloyes or JP?

The stock 340 valves are too short for SM heads?
As long as it's a true dbl roller. Everything I've read is go with iwiss(Aussie made I think)

Thanks Dewey, definitely a non-race application, just looking to increase some go power, and approach 375-400 hp.

Thanks John, the valve job, valves and guides are all new, they were installed years ago and these were wrapped and put on a shelf.
