74 Scamp brake line

Okay. In the pic you posted, the piece I need is on the far right. Question, each end of that line is different size. So the line I buy at the parts store has the same ends as the original or do I need fitting adapters or something?

I just went through this on my 72 Scamp. Ok, first question is do you still have the old brake line with the fittings? If so you can do this and save the fittings and know you have the right sizes.


You can get a brake flaring tool and a tubing bender for free at AutoZone. You just need to buy the brake line and practice a little bit. I thought it was kinda fun making my own line. There is better flaring tools out there but this worked good enough for me so I decided to keep it. It was about $40 so now I have another tool and more learning experience. It wasn't too hard.
