Any Jeep Owners Here? Post 'em Up!
My brother used to own this '87 Wrangler, 4.2 liter; carb'd with 5-speed. He couldn't use 5th gear with the tall tires because of no power. We rebuilt the engine, swapped a ported 4.0 head, and fuel injection from an '89 Cherokee. Sucker screamed! (and 5th gear started working properly.) He went from 11 mpg to about 18 after the engine work.
