motortrend streaming on sale..

I got Discovery+ a while back and was really bummed to find out MotorTrend wasn’t part of it. Still a great streaming service, but man I wish it was included. If I add any more streaming services, I may as well go back to cable!

It only shows the regular price.
Yeah, it shows $4.99 a month or $44.99 a year with a 7 day free trial.
Is there a promo code or something that we're missing?
Or is it a renewal rate if you had it before?
I would get it for Engine Masters and Graveyard Carz alone....

I'm already paying $160/mo for cable, don't need more.

Nickel and dimes are making me broke. Cable is around $150 a month as is. We have hbo and showtime and if not for the wife, I'd cancel all of it as I watch very little TV. Now more and more the break away shows are asking for an extra charge to watch them. I wish they would all go to a cafeteria style so I could drop a hundred useless channels and pay for what I want to see. Man I'm getting grumpy.:soapbox:

We did a similar thing for a while. Had cable, all the movie channels, then the kids had streaming stuff. The monthly was getting insane. Cut cable and got about 4 streaming services. Two are free through my cell phone too. It’s amazing how much we save. The only thing I really miss is football, but I can find some hijacked streams for that.

I got rid of cable over 10 years ago and put up a 30 foot tower and a rotary antenna. I’m very lucky because I live between all the big cities. I haven’t counted lately but I know it’s over 80 channels. Some are the same programs but sometimes one channel might get a little fuzzy so I can just flip it. Never missed it but I Sure can put a few extras on the cars with that 2k a year.

I got it for $1 a month for six months during their cyber week sale.

Next step, get Discovery+ and then cut the cable.

What boils my blood about cable besides the rising costs are the tons of commercials.

2.5 Years ago, I was paying almost $300 a month for Cable, Internet and their version of a telephone land line. Then it went over $300 and I was done. I went to AT&T to look at the AT&T TV I had heard about. It turned out to be a GREAT deal. You stream it like Netflix. I already had AT&T cell service, So I bundled AT&T TV, fiber optic internet and my cell service. They dropped my cell service by about $40 per month (and upgraded me to unlimited data), charged me $40 for internet (internet through cable was $97), and only $90 for more channels than I was getting from cable. Plus, you get a free app that you can use on your cell phone or computer and watch TV like you were at home. Plus you get DVR included. I am paying $170 less than I was back then for cable.

Get rid of cable! It's trash.
TRUE.

I grabbed the .99 for 6 months and gifted myself the 35.00 for 1 year to use once the 6 months was over. the Daughter and me get a kick out of some of the shows.
