Glad you are okay.
I get out from behind any flat bed, dump, and or truck hauling misc or gravel.
Lost 3 windshields and plugged plenty of tires over the years to big rocks, bolts,screws and boards with nails sticking out of them.
I've chased then down, got info... only to have them then deny it to the insurance company.
I now carry bolts and nuts in a cup holder for if and when it happens again... so I can speed up and get in front and just over the should a handful of mutual respect into their vehicle.

I say start the search for parts, and fix her. Don't let this give you and ulcer, just drive on. If you want to hear a horror story, PM me about a 22 year old woman having a siezure, picking up a pedestrian on the hood of her RAV4, and striking the side of my garage at 40 mph, while I was on the inside wall she hit. The pedestrian was killed, I'm permanently disabled, and my '70 Swinger 340 was hit hard by the shrapnel. She had no insurance. I was very bitter for a couple months, and then decided to just keep driving on with the best attitude I can muster. My life is so much better since I adjusted my attitude.
