Got the motor and tranny out. Turns out it’s not the original 340, but is correct year. It sitting for couple years minus the top end and couple freeze plugs, had some some pecan hulls and dobber nest in it.
Been rebuilt at some point, still had stock pistons. Luckily nothing was stuck, rings still spin, ring lands were ok. Cam has 1186 and 930144 on it, whic best I could find it’s some kind of mopar purple cam. thoughts on how stuff looks ? first motor I’ve torn down in 15 years.
