He was a unique character and a friend,
I traveled many times to Beckly WV
Where he lived , he died several years ago.
He mentioned donating his car to a museum up in TN near Dolly Wood.
I remember the old Super Stock and Drag Illustrated magazine did an article on Herman and it showed a picture of two AMX factory super stocks in his shop. I thought to myself if I could ever visit his shop I would have died and gone to heaven!
