Using 2 alternators .....

I am using the " one off theme" and aircraft style redundancy on my 70 Dart. I Want to use 2 alternators on it to make the engine more symmetrical, more pleasing to the eyes. I saw the alternator sticking out away from the engine making it
Asymmetrical. I notice that the bolt holes at the front of the heads (mangum) , were in the same position. Im going to fabricated 2 brackets, 1 for left and 1 right. I will have to raise the alt on both sides as the power steering cap will be too tall and hit the alternator on the left side.
Im assuming that that I will need 2 voltage regulators. And possibly Schottke diodes to
Make the current from the alt to the battery
Only flow in one direction. im also thinking that because the MSD6al will be used without a ballast, that when the 2nd alternator is switched on , it will provide a fatter spark for the plugs a more than enough for the electronics. ????????
