Scored on some new tools

So my boss asks me the other week if I needed any taps/dies. Said his wife's cousin passed away and had a hoard of them that they were cleaning out. Sure Boss, I'll take what ya have since your just looking for a place to dump them. So in our new work from home situation of nearly 2 years now, we picked a day to meet at the office. He opened his hatch, handed me a bag that weighed about 20 lbs and said they were mostly loose, but almost all of them were new. THANKS BOSS!
But that wasn't enough. He said they opened two 55 gallon drums and they were filled with various drills, sawzalls and angle grinders. All of it was corded. So he said grab one of each, and if my son needed any, grab one for him as well. I almost feel like I stole from the man. I walked away with a Porter Cable and Milwaukee sawzall, 2 1/2 inch drills - Milwaukee and DeWalt, another DeWalt hammer drill, a Metabo angle grinder, 2 full drill indexes, and a stack of 7-1/4 and 10 inch saw blades. ALL OF IT IS BRAND NEW! I bet I walked away with an easy $800 in tools. Now I won't feel bad for disposing of my worn out 20+ year old Makita's with the obliterated bearings, taped cords and broken switches....
Yeah, it is sad and great at the same time. I am the ONLY a person in the extended family that knows what tools are for and how to use them. Whenever someone dies, and they had tools, guess who gets them. The last cache was from my BIL’s BIL. He owned a car parts store for many years. Even I didn’t want all of his tools.
