No, Wait. I can get a little more RTV out of this tube!

The auto parts used to sell little winders that you could use to roll the rtv from the bottom up. It was a cheap sheet metal deal.

Makes application a breeze and pulls every last bit from the tube if you're careful when you wind it. And my winder equipped tubes don't seem to go bad near as fast.

Ask for em!

Now, a tube of caulk on the other hand... what's the trick?


I use galvanized nails in the caulk tube, seen to not react like zinc nails. Have to cut the hole small as possible. There is caps, but they want too much for them. The tube winders are super useful. I have a few of them.
