I had a pump bottle of Gold bond itch cream (stuff is awesome) and I ran out. Well, I was in a pickle as this foot was itching so bad I could not sleep so I took the bottle out of the trash, cut it open and there was a good portion still in the bottle to my relief. Slathered some on and was back asleep in 5 minutes according to my wife (whom I woke up itching my foot!) They sell super glue in little 5 packs now, call them "one use" tubes.
