Carburetor Recommendation

For a long time I hated Holley too- but man, changing the jets and tuning, once I got into them due to racing (see valiant in my pic)- I sure liked them for parts, availability and ease to tune. Honestly though, I have no idea about the smaller ones for our /6s.

If the carter 2bl I am putting on does not work out, I am going the weber, though it costs a bundle.
I like the Weber idea, but my hang up on those is I want a progressive 2 barrel. The 32/36 is the only one and it's really too small for a 225. It'd work well on a 170, but the 225 would be too much, especially one that's warmed up. It's a shame too, because if they offered say a 36/38 or a 38/40 that would be a game changer.
