is my valiant the ONLY 4 door A body on this board? It kinda sucks.. being a 4 door, i cant hot rod it much, it would look kind of dumb... i guess ill make it into a cruiser... with a lot of power....

Nothing wrong with a 4dr. I like the sleeper look 8) My 5th Ave had 4drs and I loved the look on the 5.0 Mustang drivers face when I'd pull away from them at the track

My van has 6 doors.

Nothing wrong with a 4 door.

A lot of the younger guys are doing 4 drs as the 2 doors are getting hard to find.

No one has told tehm that 4 drs aren't cool, so they make them cool, just the way they want.

It's a Mopar man, so don't worry about the number of doors. The stealth look will kill them.

Fix it the way you want it. If you decide that you really want a 2 door, you can always swap the parts, or keep it as a dependable ride while you work on your numerous other projects as the come up. This won't be your last Mopar. :D

4dr's make great sleepers....insurance is cheaper too! And if you have kids or friends that don't fold up that good anymore, getting into the back seat is MUCH easier!

oh, im not saying there is anything wrong with my 4 door, i was just asking if i was the only one :)
have a uniqueness about me and my mopar...
im going to try to get a 69-74 dart soon, i really want one, i LOVE the body. even if i have to go to long island to get it :)

I have a 68 4 door. I only paid $100 for it. Everything is straight on the car including th interior. I had to put brakes and a water pump on it. I am going to change the tires and drive it until I sell it. I also have a 67 4 spd Dart for the good stuff.

Hey Blap, is that a Hemi Dart?Looks AWESOME from your Avator pic. got any more?

Some 4 door cars are cool....

I love 4 doors.
I even have a few of them, and might fix one up for the sake of being different.....

Old thread, but among my collection, is a 64 Valiant 4dr. 170 slant six, 9.5 CR Mopar performance cam, .060 over with a deck plate, balanced, head pocked ported with stock back cut valves, 340 valve springs, full groove mains, stock intake and exhaust manifolds, 2 1/4 inch exhaust, Holley economiser 1 bbl carb. Recurved electronic distributer/HEI conversion. 3 sp on the columm, 3.23/7 1/4 rear. Runs great, still needs a lot of body work (little at a time).

*Sleeper.

Avoid the look... and just make the power.

There was a guy on here who was really into bacon who was the more door officiano here. I think he lost his patience and bailed on the site.

No, It was our cross country cruiser for years. Original 318 with small Mopar Performance cam, 273 Commando intake & Carb, dual exhaust, and 340 auto distributor. We bought it cheap with 30,000 miles on it, no one wanted it because it was a 4 door. Original Disc brakes and 7 1/4 sure grip 2.76 rear.

I had a sleeper 76 Valant 4 door as a daily for years. 408, 4 speed and a 8.25 with 3.90 gears. It was pretty darn good in the snow if you started in 2nd lol.
