Morning all thought I would run this idea by you all and get some good feed back.
Made a front spoiler out of fiberglass and have a mold to make more and sold 2 already.
It wasn't designed to be functional just for looks and keep some of the bug juice off my running gear. I sold 2 for $200 each including shipping and in a few days will be fully retired and would like to make some side money for a new restore.
I am not making a ton of money on them and trying to keep the cost down so just selling the spoiler with no hardware I figured your all talented and can figure out how to mount it.
I'm not wanting to make a bunch if no one wants them so please give me some thoughts and thanks in advance.

Very nice, I'd love one but I need it more for functionality so a couple inches taller would be ideal to reduce the air flowing under my Duster. I know you said you already made the mold but any possibility of making one say 2" taller? Very nice work regardless, looks amazing!

I would think about doing that if I had enough people wanting them.

I don't know much about air flow under a car and would like to design one that works if it wasn't to hard to do.

Nothing special really, it's just about making the front spoiler as low and wide as possible to block air from being able to flow under the chassis and cause the car to lift off the ground at high speeds. Of course you can't make it too low for a street car then it would be scraping on everything. But take a look at modern race cars, if the rules allow it they run them almost touching the ground at ride height for max air deflection. Shape can come into play but the cars we're dealing with are basically flat in the front so it doesn't matter too much for our application.

That should be simple just to make it taller I think. I'm no expert on fiber glassing but I do enjoy it.

Just so everyone knows this is designed to fit 73 or 74 A body cars I don't think it will fit anything with a lower valance.

Is this about what you need it sets 6 inches below the bumper brackets. Just a rough foam cut out but just trying to get what you need.

Wow Fred that is totally BA! As always your paint and body skills amaze me. That center console was killer. And I will always be in your debt for guiding and heckling me when I replaced my inner fenders. As you know I have a lower valance so I am out on your latest creation. Keep up the great work buddy!

Enjoy visiting with ya John you got the best Hound to spoil and the best booze around. Hope the Demon is getting done...

Looks good Fred, creative juices at work.

Come up with a quest, and figure put how to make it work. That's what this whole car hobby thing is about.

Who needs to retire. Do what you love, and trade a few bucks. Nothing wrong with that.

Have not done much on the cars here this Summer, but always get a good feeling looking at the parts sitting around the shop when I go out there.

So yeah, can still enjoy it without getting involved in big projects.

Fond memories related to good times, past and present.

Holy smokes Fred! Makes me feel like a slacker at 11 grandkids! Hah! The part Fred ain’t telling you boys is that he has about 19 or twenty some kids! Hehehehe. Ok well maybe not that many but he certainly has an advantage us.
22 grand kids so far and what a pile if we got all yours and mine at a picnic with a can of shaving cream for everyone for ammo.
Think you and me and Hemi might want to sit on the side lines and watch. lol
